2 am: Tom Linder (Detroit Techno Militia)

Tammy Lakkis
Tammy Lakkis is an emerging DJ and producer in Detroit and is a part of the Seraphine Collective. Her eclectic style is the meeting ground of many sounds and worlds that favor the fun, playful, and dark. She has opened for the likes of Terri Whodat and Rick Wilhite and spins vinyl all around Detroit and Hamtramck.

BEIGE
Unafraid to dig deep and also play the hits, Detroit-based deejay BEIGE has caught the ears of The Bunker, Clave House & other in-the-know crews. They are known for smooth mixing and colorful, improvisational, vinyl/digital hybrid sets that whip between genres and tempos--big melodies, big vocals, big Moods. As comfortable playing on a Funktion-One as at a DIY bush doof, they strive to honor the roots of dance music by cultivating their dancefloors as spaces for healing and transformation.

John Collins (Underground Resistance)
John Collins of the historic Underground Resistance crew is one of the most revered and respected DJs in Detroit. Active as a performing artist since the 1980s on the local and international dance scene, Collins is fluent in techno, house and disco styles. He is also a community activist, a member of the City of Detroit’s Entertainment Commission and treasurer of the Detroit-Berlin Connection.

Deepchord / Rod Modell
Rod Modell aka Deepchord, is a legendary Detroit-born, Michigan-based electronic music artist with over 20 years of production credits that include collaborative dub techno (Echospace) and ambient (Our Lady of the Flowers, Shorelights and Waveform Transmission) projects. His new LP, ‘Captagon,’ on Tresor is blistering Detroit-Berlin techno made for maximum high level club experience.

Tom Linder (Detroit Techno Militia)
A veteran DJ with more than twenty years of experience; Detroit native, Tom Linder has done his homework and paid his dues on the decks. As a co-founder of the Detroit Techno Militia, Linder takes a no-nonsense, working-class approach to the art of spinning records. He cites what he calls “the old-school Detroit street jocks” as major inspirations for his unorthodox aesthetic while playing a harder style of Detroit Techno music straight from the underground.
