Brandon Colvin is the founder and owner of CANVASxDetroit, an arts engagement platform dedicated to developing art-based solutions to social and civic problems. Brandon is multidisciplinary creative professional with over a decade of experience across the arts, education, communications, and small business sectors. He specializes in community art, Design Thinking, and visual and print media.

Brandon is currently a graduate student at Harvard University earning his Master's degree in education. He is also a member of the News Leadership Council, the Trust Project, and a 2018 graduate of the American Express Leadership Academy as well as a 2018 Campaign for Black Male Achievement Fellow, Andrew Carnegie Mellon Fellow, Ronald E. McNair Scholar, a board member of the Osborn Neighborhood Alliance, and recipient of a national Knight Arts Challenge Grant for his community arts engagement work in the city of Detroit.
