Claudia Owusu
Claudia Owusu is a Ghanaian writer living in Columbus, Ohio. Her poetry and essays, which dive into the experience of the immigrant abroad, have been published in Quiz & Quill, Otterbein University’s Literary Magazine, Wusgood.black, 20.35 African Contemporary Poetry Brittle Paper, Ohio’s Best Emerging Poets 2017 and 2018, Clockhouse Magazine, and Rock & Sling Literary Magazine. Her short films have been showcased at the Nkabom Literary Art Festival in Accra, Ghana and Lome, Togo and the No Evil Eye Film Festival in New York. Her favorite book, if she had to choose, is Their Eyes Were Watching Godby Zora Neale Hurston; and her favorite song, if she had to choose, is “Hey Baby” by Stephen Marley.
